We stayed here over Christmas for a Girl’s Weekend. Mark was awesome from when I called to confirm the reservation until the time we left. I checked in the night after a huge freeze and upon check-in he notified me that the water had just gone off due to a busted pipe in the area. His service even up to that point was so good that I decided to risk it and then just switch to another hotel if the water hadn’t returned before the end of the night. To my delight within 30 minutes my water was back on. The room was really nice and clean, the king size bed felt like heaven. On the downside the couch bed is really small, and the mattress is extremely thin, luckily we had one very small person who was able to sleep comfortably on it. The room was fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, a toaster, coffee and coffee supplies, paper towels, cleaning materials etc. I mentioned this because sometimes I have stayed at Extended Stay‘s in the past and they usually only have one pot, one pan, and a few utensils in the room, or you have to go down to the desk and request these items and they do not have enough for every room. The other downside was that unlike an Extended Stay there is no trash receptacle on each floor. This did not go over well with a room full of neat freaks who did a lot of cooking and couldn’t stand the smell of the trash in the room. Mark was kind enough to offer for us to leave it outside the door or to call him and he would come and get it for us. The Wi-Fi was good enough for us to have a Roku on one TV, a Firestick on the other, plus everyone on phones and tablets for two days with very minor issues. The breakfast was very good; they had a wide variety of foods. There was a waffle maker and a buffet which included fresh fruit, muffins, orange juice, cranberry juice, coffee, and a variety of cereal and oatmeal. The first day they offered mini omelettes and a really good breakfast sausage.

The rooms was spacious for a family of six. The two bedroom suites had 2 queens, 1 king and sofa bed. Nowadays the hotel doesn't make this size anymore. The lobby was a bit outdated. The breakfast was amazing. They had a hot breakfast and it was cold. The menu changed everything in the morning. They said during weekday evening 5 to 6pm (?) They even provide finger food with beer. There is a pool for kids, a little dog park and a huge pawn with ducks.

I really enjoyed the location and I enjoyed the room the rooms could have been a little bit cleaner and I did see that they are going to renovate in the future the area is very good the pond was pretty cool family and I had a good time we went out to Sam Houston race Park and we checked out circus Soleil echo and we also went the next stage to check up the horse racing all in all it was a win-win very safe location good stuff

We were there for our anniversary and to visit my son. The staff was very helpful and nice. The room was spacious. The breakfast which was free was always hot. You could was your clothes at no charge. I like how it was sorta private so when you were outside people riding by on the roads couldn't see you in the pool or sitting out watching the ducks.

My boys loved the pool, the room was neat and clean. The staff was friendly and pleasant. Everything was a short drive away. The breakfast was goo, no waffles but plenty of toast and bagels. Good curtains to block out the sun and Dove shower set if u forgot yours. Nicely decorated and quite. Not too flashy, it's very family friendly.
